Off Season Fitness

Spring and the end of the racing season can be a critical time of year. It is time to look back at your season and look at the areas in your skiing that you need to work on and also reflect on what you have improved on in the season. On those areas for improvement you need to work out what you are going to do over the summer that is going to make a difference when the white stuff falls again. After getting yourself fitter over the winter it would also be a shame to do nothing again. However any fitness work should be low intensity. Go ski touring, bushwalking or try indoor climbing. Do something that will keep you in shape, so if when you pick up your fitness work again, you haven't lost what you have gained.
